Syncretic Streams by Keerthi Kumar and Roopa K

Syncretic Streams is a mixed media production that explores the multifarious nature of reciprocity through four streams of thought. Presented using the movement motifs of Kathak, Indian Contemporary movement and Hatha yoga.

The approach to developing a multi-media and lighting design for a production that I co-created and performed in is a different experience. The designs are formed in tandem with music & choreography, they are not a separate element or an additional element but a cohesive unit built on symbiosis. Sometimes, the choreography was also inspired by the multimedia design.
